So I’ve been pondering the various wedding gift lists I’ve been sent for weddings this summer, do newly weds really want so much cutlery, dinner sets and new pans? I guess so – however amongst all those household items wouldn’t it be nice to unwrap something you weren’t expecting, something you didn’t pick from the John Lewis home department, something that could spice up the honeymoon or keep the bride entertained on her wedding night should the groom have consumed too much alcohol. The Wedding Season is here!

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, Easter is now over and I sincerely hope you all had a lot of not so wholesome fun!!

We find ourselves in that peculiar limbo where spring is coming to a close and summer is just beginning to bloom, this is the time of year which is often called ‘Wedding Season’!! Alright then, it’s not quite an official season, let us take a tip from our American cousins…If you can think of something to celebrate, celebrate it!! Allow yourself to enjoy this blissfully naïve and childlike existence, and you might just find you’ll have more fun than ever before.

No matter where you are, or who you are, the chances are that in the following couple of months you’ll be involved in a wedding. Regardless of whether the nuptials are your own, or you are simply a guest, there is an awful lot to be thinking about!
