I’m sorry…I’m so so so SORRY!! Far too long I have been under radio silence!! BUT…I have a good reason…and it helps to explain today’s title!! Just in case you were wondering…I have indeed swapped my heels for a pair of Wellies (haven’t arrived yet), but fear not…because I’ve pre-ordered the Hunter-Jimmy Choo ones…I just can’t let go of my little luxuries…they just add glamour to the mundane!! So why have I jumped ship in the footwear department?? Because I (we) have moved house of course…farewell Central London, and Bonjour the Oxfordshire Countryside!! Yep that’s right, this lifelong city girl has crossed the border into country living…I’ve always said that London is the best place in the world to live….but, now seems the best time to make a little admission…I have ALWAYS fancied a life surrounded by fields!! Hello once again!! I’d like to say that I am now finally convinced that this terribly irritating recession is finally receding!! Yes we’re back on solid ground (sort of) and with the onset of summer it’s definitely time we all started thinking about reviving the British institution that is the Summer Holiday.
Yes, not many of us managed one of those last year, but whoever you are make sure that this year is the year you dust off that bikini! Imagine it, laying on a beach of pure white sand, the waves lapping gently around your feet while you gaze heaven-ward from the shade of a palm tree. Paradise, I think so, but let us not forget that even paradise can be improved upon!! (more…)

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, Easter is now over and I sincerely hope you all had a lot of not so wholesome fun!!

We find ourselves in that peculiar limbo where spring is coming to a close and summer is just beginning to bloom, this is the time of year which is often called ‘Wedding Season’!! Allow yourself to enjoy this blissfully naïve and childlike existence, and you might just find you’ll have more fun than ever before.
