Ahh…bliss!! Christmas and New Year have finally been and gone, my stress levels have returned to their usual state and I’m finally beginning to return to normality! You see, as much as I love Christmas…it really does take it’s toll…financially and otherwise!
Anyhow, that’s all in the past now and I must say I’m bursting with excitement about 2011, I hope it’s going to be a really good year! I know, VAT has gone up (boo Mr Osborne) and all of a sudden I have realised that when I go to London for a blow out shopping spree, the fuel is likely to cost more than my retail therapy…I mean (in Hollywood language)…WTF just happened!! And it’s not like the train is a cheap option and these boots weren’t made for walking and they sure aren’t getting on a Mega Bus!!
I know everyone is getting behind the ‘buy local’ movement, which is of course fine…with food shopping etc, just don’t expect me to swap my Louboutins for the hemp sandals I can purchase within walking distance! (more…)
